We offer clean and comfortable boarding for both dogs and cats.
All of our boarding dogs are kept in kennel type runs with no cages or crates. The runs are clean and spacious, each with a fold-down bed or kennel deck. The runs with concrete floors also have ground source heat to keep the boarders warm in the cooler months. Boarders are let outside at least twice daily (morning and evening) into our partitioned yards where they can exercise and go to the bathroom. When the weather is nice boarders are at times let out mid-day as well. If you have several large dogs and would like them to board together, we do have the ability to connect several runs together using sliding doors. If capacity allows, we often will give dogs double runs.
We feed our canine boarders Hill's Science Diet Adult Maintenance food, although you are welcome to bring your dog's regular food. Likewise, if your pet is on medication we will ensure that this gets administered appropriately. We do require that all boarders are current on vaccines including distemper-parvo-adenovirus-parainfluenza (DA2PP), rabies, and bordetella (kennel cough). We can update these prior to boarding if needed.
All of our feline boarders are kept in cozy kitty condos with a large window to watch outside. The cat boarding is separate from the dog boarding in order to keep stress levels low. The condos have at least one litter box that is checked and changed at least twice daily. When capacity allows, condos are connected to provide boarders both sides for more room. Boarding cats must be current on vaccinations including feline viral rhinotracheitis, calicivirus, panleukopenia (FVRCP), rabies, and feline leukemia virus (FeLV). We can update these prior to boarding if needed.
